This innovative quality product from Lobster Tools turns your existing electric or cordless impact driver or drill with a standard hexogonal chuck into a powerful riveter.  The @R03i riveter is a great choice for automotive work, body shops, prototyping, DIY projects, home repairs and other applications.  This attachment tool is capable of setting up to 3/16” rivets, saving hours of labor, and avoiding hand fatigue typically associated with hand riveters.

It works by attaching the 1/4" (6.35mm) input shaft to your existing hexogonal chuck on your impact driver.  The spring loaded quick disconnect type work best.  Then, select the appropriate size nosepiece for the rivets to be installed from the 4 which are included.  Next, insert the mandrel of the rivet into the end of the attachment and the rivet assembly into the workpiece.  When the impact driver is activated in the normal direction, the mandrel is pulled into the tool, breaking it off and retaining it.  When the impact driver is reversed the mandrel falls out and the next rivet can be installed.  The video below shows the attachment riveter in use.  The rivet size range is 3/32" - 3/16" (2.4mm - 4.8mm).

Included is the rivet attachement tool, 4 nosepieces, 1 nosepiece wrench, and instructions in both English and Japanese.  Please be sure to read the instructions and safety information completly before operating this product.  One note on the recommended impact driver / drill to use with this rivet tool.  The manufacturers recomended maximum torque for impact drivers is 80Nm and for drills is 20Nm and low speed is recommended.  The drill / impact driver must be capable of both forward and reverse rotation.
